I was just shooting 4 eggs that my D.t. azureus popped out last night. I noticed these 4 bugs on one of the eggs during the shoot. They were on the surface moving around and just on this one egg. I don't have microscope vision so I couldn't even see them with my eye to pull them off with tweezers or an eye dropper or something.

I did just add spring tails and isopods to the tank 2 weeks ago but these are way too small to be those right? Anyone know what they are?
Thanks,
Gina
whatever you do...don't try to pick/pull/lift/scrape them off......lot's of stuff get's on or near eggs, especially some type of worms and almost 99% do not interfere with the developing embryo.
THANK YOU!
Should I cut that part of the leaf/egg off and separate it from the other eggs in another incubator or just leave them together. I'm a freak. I know...
totally up to you...equal theories of raising. As long as the ambient humidity is high and you mist lightly. Don't use R.O or distilled water. I use grocery store 'spring' water or even well water and 'city water'.
Just talked to an entomologist and they said it looked like booklice. Not aquatic...doesn't like high humidity and could have just fallen from the white cardboard I was using as a bounce card! Gross...
pumilio froglets love Booklice. I used to culture them coincidentally in my Bean Beetles cultures. No worries with them hurting the eggs, I would think.
