They don't seem to be overly stressed after being pulled that soon?
Hi Dane,
Nah, they are all doing very well. Four total, so far.
The Darklands seem to navigate the quarantine tubs more so than any other pumilio froglets I have seen.
Update;
6th froglet in 3 months.
I would say that the adult Darklands are the most "fragile" adult WCs I have worked with , but the froglets collected are ALL uberstrong, fiesty froglets?????

These are all coming out of the Uberviv? Sounds like you figured out the secret ingredient. Congrats!

brazilnut

Congrats Rich. Is there a certain temp and humidity range in the viv they seem to prefer over other areas? It makes me want to convert my kid's rooms into big Ubervivs for my Shepards

Wow, Rich, that is awesome! Hope you continue to have such good luck with them. Smile Have any more pic's to make us drool?

Sorry to be the stupid one in this group of experts- you obviously all can appreciate the frog better than I can. It is an awesome looking little frog but can you guys tell me more about what species and how Rich came to have a group in his viv (and a little info about the set up~ pretty please) I love to get info just so I know more about froggies  Spanks ya'll!!!!!
Thanks everyone.
They are all coming out of the Uberviv.
The three females have their own territory they like to stick to. Some up higher, some almost on the ground. The humidity is around 85% , but changes a bit when the vent fan kicks on.

Not sure if you've raised any from juvies to adulthood, but have you noticed any differences in coloration between the two?

rjmarchisi

Wow, that is quite an interesting background you have the frogs on. I cant seem to get mine fill in as well as yours.

Great frogs.

Yah, the ground cover fills in nice, but the substrate has crappy drainage. Confusedhock:

Rich
Dane,
The oldest are about 10 weeks old.

Thanks Rich...now, I need a new keyboard! Smile The drooooooooooool is messing it up...whoops, key stuck.

Beautiful froglets...it's awesome that you are doing so well with them! Do they need that kind of space that the Uberviv provides...or was it kind of an experiment, as well?

Take care!

Kristen
Originally I was thinking about putting Histos in the Uberviv Kristen, but I was not exactly flooded with them. So Darklands it is.
Not sure if they absolutely need this kind of space, but it is working.
Thanks,
Rich
