Well its time again to build a new display vivarium. The tank will be 24"x24"x36" corner euro style vivarium made by Jason at Protean Custom Terrariums. My ultimate plan is to turn this into a desk/ or bookcase and make the vivarium the centerpiece. Lighting for this vivarium will consist of lights from Todd Goode w/ lightyourreptiles.com. I am going to be using his new 30w LED dome along with two 22" HOT5s. One HOT5 will have the arcadia UVB bulb and the other will be an 8K bulb. It will also have a fully automated system in it controlled by Ecozone. The cool thing about this ecozone module is not only will it be able to dim my LEDs to make it life like lighting, control my mistking system, tell me the temps/humidity in my viv along with the temps in my canopy, control my PC fans for ventilation, but also I can keep a constant update on it via my iPhone app. It will alert me when temps get to cold/ hot and also when the humidity gets to low!. I am so excited and will begin sharing pictures with everyone tonight!
I will be keeping either my group Highland Sirensis aka standard lamasi or a group of retics in this vivarium
Don't we have a post here on the 'ecozone' ? I think Jim from Texas has something like that...

I think you may be recalling Chuck's post in my build thread about his Micasaverde automation unit:

All the broms Ill be using. All of these came out of my personal collection or Jason w/ tropicalplantz.com
Looks like some nice "collector broms" you got there...

I am planning on just placing the T-5 strip light over one of the vents. I wish I would've thought about starfire soon. Damn hignsight lol
Vivarium set for delivery on Wen. :-)! Also, selling some of the broms in the photo above to Armson. Ill be placing another order to get more colorful ones though
So excited to get this in the next day or two. Sounds like Phil and Craig saw it today
Okay, sorry for the slow time to post. I got my tank in from Jason yesterday and couldn't be more pleased. Here are the pictures Smile.

Salt creep all over it from the road when he delivered it.

what's that rear bulkhead for ?
Im going to have a waterfall there for looks. More like a very slow trickle lol. The pump will be external as well.
Ive got the misting system hooked up. Now I've started carving the background today. I also painted the dome LED light to match the color of the wood on the stand Im going to build.
Just used drylock for the first time and I was really pleased with the results. It dries really fast though. Ill post pictures later on tonight.
Here is me applying the drylok on the background:

If you look you'll see the tree fern panels that I have been growing tropical moss on. I will be incorperating this into the background as well on the other side:
