Another Redhead pair and three of their offspring eating, dad comes and checks out the camera.

Sorry about the shakiness, it was a small digital camera.
It says the video does not exist.

Awesome chris! You have a little colony going there. I kept mine in a 200gal and never messed with them and not once did i see tads...now my friend who took over most of my stuff said there are 4 almost adult sized frogs in there...I guess mine turned out good breeders too
Yeah I got 2 tanks full of these
You gotta share the love.

Seems like these are popping up in small numbers all over lately. Nobody ever posted about them if they had them, and now I see pics every day from various froggers.

That one is either a 44 or 55 corner pentagon, got some that breed also in a 24*18*18 exo terra - the one that's like a 18*18*24 on its side.
Could we get whole tank pics?
Redheads are my favorite frogs I have ever kept. Bright, full of color, bold, perfect size between pums and tinc, what more can you ask for?
That one is actually the exo terra - they're nothing outrageous, clay substrate, some broms but I use condiment cups instead now, some plants, and those micro silver springtails and some isopods.

I agree 100%! Even after keeping other large Oophaga, these seem to have the most personality.

Chris, those micro springtails are awesome! I've growing up pumilio and histos faster than ever starting them on these. I highly recommend them for any obligate keepers.
Yeah totally, they have been in those tanks since they were first seeded and haven't needed to be reseeded since
Oophaga histrionica 'red head'. So very nice.
I agree, those frogs are very NICE! Maybe one day I will have the privilege of having them.
