I just put together my 2'x2' cube that is the remaining pieces of a 180gallon tank. It is drilled for wet/dry, 3/4" glass on bottom 1/2" sides. Its very heavy. I wanna turn it into a dart frog tank with a water fall, stream and a little pond. I was gonna use one of my many 10gallons for a sump below. I need advice on what type of plants and frogs to use and how many frogs.???.
it depends on what type of frog you would like. you can have thumbnails in it or tincs. also how much experience do you have in keeping frogs.

I don't really have any experience with frogs, but I have experience with newts and several reptiles. I was think of putting in an amazon tree boa, but I think it would be cooler to have plants, a water feature and dart frogs. I just wanna get design ideas along with ideas of types of plants and how many frogs could be in it. I probably need a good beginner frog. Its a big tank and I know I probably have lots of options.

you should also look through the recent posts on which frogs are good for beginners. given the different color morphs, there are tons of nice options. grouping really goes by type of frog, some are pairs only while some do well in small colonies(given ample room). for plants a good starting place is cloud jungle epiphytes. they have tons of pics and info, and cater to terrarium keepers. black jungle also has nice plants and vivarium gear with pics and info. the best bet is to pick some frogs you like, look at how they use space and plants(for climbing/egg deposition/tad rearing), then look at which plants you like, and by then the design elements will be pretty clear.
