Hello all,

Thought I'd do a quick introduction.

Name is Chris, currently live in Milwaukee, WI. I heard through a member here that there is some better information/resources on this forum than others (sure we can guess which one) so I thought I'd make a profile. I'm "new" to the hobby in the sense that there are people here with decades of experience, but I got my first frogs probably close to two years ago now.

Currently I have mostly pumilio, 1.2 Rio Teribe breeding group, 1.2 Esperanza breeding group, 1.1 Cristobal prove pair, 1.1 Punta Laurent, 1.2 Tarapoto breeding group (gotta split that group up, anyone looking for a probable female, UE line?) and a 0.0.3 group of Azureus.

I go to the university here for Conservation and Environmental Science/Biology/Geology and I assist with research in the frog lab on campus. Spent six weeks this summer in Texas doing field research working with mate selection preference in Hyla cinerea. Hoping to work with both Dendrobatidae and Hylidae species both professionally and hobby wise for a long time to come!

Howdy "neighbor"! What kind of research do you do? At the U of M there's a guy working with their acoustics but I'm afraid I don't know much more than that about his project.

We were looking at female "choosiness." So what frequency is most "attractive" to females and also how far they're willing to travel for the most attractive mate.
