I was searching online and saw in 2004 Atlanta held Frog Day. I was wondering if it could come back down here or if there will be anything similar upcoming in the near future?
I'm sure the 'Board of Directors' - which is primarily Chuck, would be more than happy to see it down there again. Someone down there would have to do all the heavy lifting and help from the ABG would be a must as well, IMO.
I am not sure if there are a lot of collectors down here but I am sure if it came here it would gain a lot of new fans. Do you mean some companies would have to have to sponsor it when you talk about "heavy lifting"? I have only been doing this for a little while and already it has become really addicting. I am loving this hobby and enjoying learning more each and every day.
There are a fair amount of froggers down in the Metro area, I think. A lot of traffic and attendees could be expected due to the airport hub and the fact it's a major met area - so, it is a good choice.

Heavy lifting = all the planning, hotel, zoo trips, speakers, vendor sales stuff, advertising...all that fun cool stuff.
How could we get it to be considered? There are a ton of venues that could hold it. They had some exhibit at the aquarium but it was just showing different amphibians and reptiles, no vendors though.
