I was trying to plan a trip for my 37th Bday next year in Panama sometime in March.
Since I am primarily a diver and same goes for my wife we would want to stay in the Bocas Del Toro district. Dive before lunch and frog hunt after lunch.
Prices aren't the best but they are not bad. They look to be around 1k for airfare and hotel for 1 week.

I am not leading a trip but I figured we could at least get a group together. Maybe higher a guide to take us around and check out the best vivs on the planet.

Anybody interested in going ?

Byron, Check out Spirit Airlines for cheaper flights! I flew round trip from Miami to Peru and back for $550
Spirit both scares and bugs the crap out of me. They would be and always are my last choice. There is a reason they are always about $100 cheaper than the rest , even after they over charge for bags.
A trip a little closer to full on rainy season may be a little more frog sighting productive. May would be nice to hit both Panama and CR.
If we had a descent sized amount of people going I would be open to moving dates around... However I am going to be diving and then frog hunting so a full on rainy season would not be good for diving.

Anybody got some good hotel recommendations for Bocas? or dive shop recommendations?

Of course if anyone wanted to check out some "frog farms" that would be ok too.

Not sure I want to go when it's pouring rain...

Is there anyone that is actually interested in going?
Yup. Unless I still have to make tanks.
A day n the Bocas with no frogs beats the sh!t out of my normal day.
Playa Bluff on Colon is a really nice place, owned by a real nice Dutch couple. Walking distance to reef.
Chris,
Do you have a dive cert?

-Byron
No, but I snorkel like crazy.
