Need I post another pic?
But seriously, they are a badass frog which has extremely limited bloodlines (maybe line, singular...), they do not breed consistently like most all other thumbs and they will never be imported legally from Peru again due to the fact they are all but extinct in the wild and Peru actually cares about that fact.
There are obviously other reasons also along with the intangibles , but they absolutely remain the frog I am begged , begged to sell time and time again, year after year after year.
Rich do you have any available?
RichFrye Wrote:Unfortunately , my wait list is closed and will most likely remain so for the year.
I want more breeding groups for myself , and when I do open the list it will be guys like Craig who have asked in the past who will be getting on the list first. This specific frog remains the most sought after 'established' frog in our hobby.

hmmm..from looking at a few Facebook ads...it appears that there are multiple available 'Standards' in the greater NYC area.

Interesting.

How much ?
The 'usual' high prices.

I think I saw $400.00 for a sexed frog

'Usual' high prices seems to me to be a new thing. When Pepper brought in Benies/ new fants I could see paying a bit more for the project.
But $400 and over to me per is pretty interesting to me.
Still trying to figure out what a fair captive bred price is for mine .
We all saw the $450 price here a bit back.
What other prices did you see via FB. I don't do social networking / controlled and edited selling.
A note....there were 'Damien' standard lamasi from EU sources back in 2009, I believe.
I think he spells his name damian

Don't tell me he is well known (infamous) all the way down there in Texas?

Bonus points if you can list his last name(s).

What/who is the 'Uhern' line of Lamasi ?
I think you're mistaken. I'm Damien, there's another frogger who's name is damian. I'm in no way infamous. To answer your last question ask Frye. And yes i know his last name.
I'm not mistaken..Damien, Damian...doesn't matter how it's spelled. We are talking about NYC. As long as you live in Texas and not NYC then it's...not you.
There are so many people with these now, and having good success that in a couple years....these frogs will be $200.00 or less.
It seems like the going price is $200-300 right now. I recently saw an add for 4/$800 I believe...
Where was that ad Craig?
I tried to spend some time looking back through some adds, but the best that I saw was 3/1000...but, the price seems to be steadily coming down from the $400+ that we had previously been seeing. I believe there were some for cheaper than that on RAC.
For all you 'business' oriented froggers...sell NOW, before they are $125.00 each...heh
I was tinkering with some ad pricing stats a while back (I have not updated this in a few months) but it was an interesting trend in Lamasi pricing:

Granted this is not a very large data set, but it was interesting how the juvenile pricing started climbing around 2010 and peaked this year. With the renewed interest, I suspect the historic price of $125 to $150 is probably a good target....
Jim, are you wearing a pocket protector right now?
No, but I had my old iPhone A5 chip implanted behind my ear Wink I got bored one night (I think inspired by this thread) and started poking around old for sale ads. I just forgot to post the plot  I have another one on hobby longevity I'll dig up ....
