Do these mites get on us, because I got the darn things for the first time in my cultures.

Yep..they will crawl on you if you handle the culture cup and they are all over it. A little itchy, no big deal as they will fall off or you can squish them by running your hand over your arm for instance.

Big problem if you develop an allergy to them. Then its a whole different story.
