hun73r Wrote:Could you possibly share the size test tube you are using. I like this method and would like to duplicate but there are so many sizes out there it would be good to start with one that has been proven to work.
Hi, the dimensions are 75mm long x 20mm wide.
Mike
Thanks for the dimensions. That must be a specialized size. I can find 12mm x 75mm or 20mm x 150mm. I ordered some of those and they are way too deep in my opinion and I think the 12mm opening would be too small. The search continues.
I got them off a supplier on ebay.co.uk
I`ll check him out and see if he does exports and if so I`ll let you know.
Mike
Are you using test tubes?

It is something I`m trying out.
I have them in 3 vivs and so far only the one pair have used one.
Another pair have been investigating one but not dropped any tads yet.
The last group have not shown any interest that I can see to date.
Mike
Yesterday I got this photo of dad in one of the test tubes presumably testing the water for putting tads in at a later time.
Mike
Thanks for the photo. Really cool!

Yes me too.
It gets really frustrating when the glass gets covered in algae.
