I was thinking of using aluminum angle to support the glass top in a vivarium that I am setting up. My question is: if the aluminum oxidizes could it harm the frogs ?

Since aluminum is not ferrous, it will not (should not anyway) oxidize. Its strong, lightweight and rust proof, just kinda expensive.
