silicone removal

i added a background today, but i got a little messy and got silicone on the glass where i didnt want it. i could scrape most of it off, but there is some film left over, i cant get it off with a rag and hot water. what do i do to remove it?

Razor blade. I suspect acetone might work, but I don't know if I'd use it on the inside of a viv.

Edit: Razor blade on glass ONLY! If your tank is acrylic, you might try just letting it cure and then rubbing really hard with a dry finger.

The easist solution is to let it dry/cure and then use a new razor blade and slice it off the glass.
if you try and wipe it, chances are you will just spread it over a bigger area.
