skittish tinc
#1
I have a dwarf colbalt tinctorius that is extremely skittish. He hops away and hides if you come too close to his vivarium too quickly, and runs into his coconut all the time. He is fairly active and comes out daily, but it is most often when no one but me is in the room. Is this normal ? I have had this frog for about 2 years now and he has always been this way.

Yeah, that is pretty much the way it goes. Even "bold" frogs will scatter if they feel like something is up. One suggestion to see more of your frogs is to raise the humidity so that they don't have to retreat into the recesses of the terrarium to get moisture

Hey, I have 2 sub adult tincs that run away when I open the viv or come up on them too fast. Don't worry, it's fairly normal.
