Alex,

Your viv looks great! I love the ferns, they really make it look like a forest. The moss looks really nice too. What are the large ferns called?

I don't have the faintest idea what the ferns are called. They grow naturally on my greenhouse and just move them when needed.

Some of the ferns in the greenhouse were also collected from nearby forest, usually after being cleared for roads.

The moss is collected from a nearby forest, so no idea what it's called either.

Very nice Alex!
What are you using for your background?

Cindy, for the background I use some wood that I cut the sides of (to keep only the bark) and great stuff.

I apply black silicone and coco fiber, but the fiber tends to fall off with time.

I'm starting a project to build a large vivarium, I believe it's a 50 galon horizontal tank, where I want to put several small orchids, small pitcher plants, ferns of course and probably some small passifloras as well.

I'll try to make a photo journal out of the project to share.

the tank and frogs both look great! i really like the ferns too. but if they were collected outside along with the moss then arent they temperate? meaning that they will die in there cause its to humid and they need a winter period during the year.
