Small Day Gecko with my darts?
#1
I've heard mixed opinions on keeping a small day gecko, like a gold dust, with PDFs. I love the gold dusts and would love to get one. I have a 55g well planted viv. Waddya guys and gals think? Has anyone done this or doing this now? Any Help would be appreciated.
Peace.

i have wondered about this too. what animals are safe to keep with darts? i would like to keep pygmy chameleons with my darts, but im unsure of how they would cohabitate. ~Lauren

I wonder what the frogs would think of that. If they get stressed with just having too many of their own kind it seems they might not like a lizard in with them. I know they are territoral with their own kind but it seems like it might be a little much for them. Maybe someone has already tried it?

Checkout this link. This particular link says the guy has frogs and lizards mixed. Checkout the other vivs on the site. They're incredible.
I've seen other sites mention keeping frogs with other critters but I can't find them off hand.

I have a breeding trio of small DAy Geckos in with some Lucs, and Auratus, they've been together for almost a year now, and no problems at all, i've actually gotten some eggs from the Geckos also. As long as the Geckos don't consider the frogs food, there should be a problem, mine are always climbing so they don't run into the frogs much, but when they do, nothing happens, they just go their separate ways. Id suggest it for display tanks, the extra life really adds a lot, also its fun watching them chase fruit flies around.

Thats cool. I think I'll get me a litle gold dust. I usually see them at the local shows. My tank is pretty tall and plenty big and planted so it should be fine. I'm stoked now!
Peace,

Just make sure they don't get to big, try to aim for a species that is fully grown around the same size as your darts.
