Wax Worms- good feeder insects ?
#21
My wax worm culture just exploded so I decided to feed some to my darts for the first time. The adult azureus were going nuts and one of my males actually took a worm from the tip of my finger! I finally had to stop feeding for fear of his stomach bursting... lol
In my other tank I have juv. (4 leucs and 2 tincs) the tincs were taking them down but the leucs kept spitting them out and grabbing them up and spitting them out again and never ate any Sad I think next time I'll video it Smile

NO IDEA! I bought them at my pet store... in the blue container.
I randomly produce a huge culture to feed my spiderlings or misc. small species of gecko, frog, mantis etc.
The worms I gave the darts were small. I had some huge ass fatties in there though lol

I just found out today that a mantis I bought won't eat crawling bugs so now I need to start breeding flies Sad
At least the fruit flies are flightless...for a few generations anyway Wink
