Crossbreeding, Mixing, Hybridization - Where will it lead ?

The more mixing, hybridization or even the threat or mention of it ,will:

Drive many many many hobbyists to seek to acquire wild caught stock. So if you want a quick and explosive way to begin crushing conservation efforts -by all means travel down this path.

What its bound to do is permanently split the hobby. And I mean different boards, and all. One side is trying to help while one doesn't care. I see the ability to divide and better it if it gets worse. No reason to stay as a part of the main hobby if this doesn't get better.

Phil,

I'm curious as to why you include out-crossing? If we out-crossed more in the hobby, it would reduce the need for introducing new genetics via WC stock.

I figured it was just an error, but also wondered if there was a point that I may have been missing.
