Hi all,
In the next couple months I am going to be setting up another large viv and was wondering what kind of clay substrate has worked the best for people. I have always used the coco/orchid bark combo on top of leca or false bottom and have had great luck, but I am looking to do clay for the microfauna. I was wanting to hear some experiences and pros/cons.
Thanks.
Scott Bryant

A thin layer of any of the home made recipes on top of a thick layer of infield conditioner is pretty good, mostly because the home made stuff is hard to make so you don't need to use so much of it in one tank and the infield conditioner holds its shape better than the home made recipes after misting
