Azureus eggs - good ?
#1
I had some eggs laid on 6/12/11

How long to tell if there is any development, or if they are bad?

They look like they did when I pulled them and left them in the tank for 24 hours after laid.

within 1-2 days, if they are good, you will see them develope and start to make a slight change from a dot, to having a "line" in them....

Check out this thread / pic for what good developing eggs look like.

They look good to me. Be sure to keep them moist - covered in a plastic box or similar. Water should always touch the sides of the eggs but not cover them.

Try for steady temps of 74 or so. Avoid temp swings - higher or lower. Steady is the key.

I use aged tap water or grocery store spring water that has been made into tadpole tea. I sometimes use a tiny drop of Meth Blue per gallon as well.

Good stuff !
