Looking for: Microfauna!
#1
Hi all. I'm looking for springtails and isopods for my P. Vittatus. I have some, but I'd like another culture or two of both to really get it going. I'd prefer them to be local to the Baltimore, Maryland area (within 60 miles would be nice), but it's not a necessity.

Please reply or PM me if you have any to sell. If shipping is involved, please give me a quote shipped to 21227.

Thanks,
Mark

Mark,

I think you got some of the Costa Rican "purple" Isopods when you were over here, correct ?

I can make a few dwarf white and "Spanish" Orange for you as well.

Shipping bugs is going to be both $$ and potentially deadly this time of year. There are many hobbyists near you with several varieties, so you shouldn't need to consider shipping.

As far as Maryland Reptile shows the rest of this year....there's only "Repticon" in the Fall and to be honest, it's pretty weak and definitely low on dart frogs.

Hamburg Pa August 6th is a MUCH better venue. There are usually 8 or more DIFFERENT dart frog vendors there each show not to mention Tree Frogs and tons of related supplies. I'll be there at a table and will be bringing several Isopod cultures for a couple people. I can make some cx's for you if you are interested.

I don't think I'm going to be able to make that one. Is it a multiple day event, or just the one day?

Written in blue. (:

Thanks again!

Hamburg is only one day - Sat, but there are shows every other month.

To avoid shipping and gas expenses....I would just take your time and keep checking the Forums. Isopods are gonna crop up / be available near you at somepoint soon. There's a lot of hobbyists in the Mid Atlantic / Balt / DC area.
