Hey guys! I have been thinking and wondering if anyone else has tried this? Setting up a sound system within a vivarium with a 24hr tropical noise simulation. What are your guys thoughts? Could it be stressful for the frogs?
Opinions?? =) I would like some feed back!
Thanks!!

IMO the frogs are not going to care about sounds of any sort - background noise, unless it's set at "Metalica level" volume.
I play a "jungle sound" loop in my frog room and I also have Darren Meyers awesome CD of frog calls but all those sounds basically boil down to human entertainment and are of little value to the frog.
When you say "within the vivarium"...all I can picture is little, miniature outdoor/ weather resistant speakers coated in cocofibre. lol

hahaha basically, yeah thinking about it there is probably little to no benefit for the frogs. It was just an idea and i thought i would share lol

Get that frog call CD from Darren or a cool jungle sounds loop and play it in the house near the vivs - living room or frogroom. I think it totally enhances the experience.
Darts frog def do respond to species calls though. Try it one time. My Leucs are really responsive, some of my Tincs too.
