Inherited patterning on histrionicus?
#1
Might be from staring at these too long, but I started noticing some similarities between patterning on the parents and offspring as they grow:

Father:

Similar offspring (mostly on the back, kind of mirror-ish):

Mother:

Similar offspring (mostly on the head):

Both together:

I know the histrionicus sample size might be small, but did anyone else notice anything like this - or with other species?
