Carnivorous plant questions
#1
Ok, I am currently in the process of building a viv for vampire crabs (build thread pending) I am doing a clay background (which stays reasonably damp) and a boggy substrate with a water section...nothing fancy but I was wondering if these conditions would be favorable for carnivorous plants. My local green house has quite a few different species of small sun dew, pitchers and Venus fly traps. I have really been wanting to do something for these. Do pitchers require a dormant period and do you guys thing any of these would be doable?

Michael,
I've been wanting to do a small table top bog garden, something like this:

He goes into detail about how he did his. Some of his plants he does have to cycle.
Needless to say I have yet to start one, but it sure would be cool!
