Registering Dart Frogs

I read somewhere today that someone said they needed to register their frogs, can anyone tell me what this is? Is there a registry like dogs, where ancestry is recorded?
If it is helpful, I believe I was looking at info on R. imitators.

It's far from perfect or even "polished", but it's the closest thing to what you are looking for.

When you think of 'hobby exotic animal registration"....think "Zoo" and NOT AKA or any dog, cat or horse type thing.

I believe Ron said they are transitioning to a new registry system, so good things may be coming soon. As of right now not gonna have much luck registering frogs.
