The Frog Room - Frogfreak

Good stuff, guys. I use a generous amount of raffia in my Hydei. It works great.

Hey Glenn. I noticed your run you vents on the back of the lid - can you provide more details on your choice of placement? Curious if you have found that front vents don't have as great of an impact on keeping condensation clear. Not questioning the choice, just pickin' the brain of a guy who just built more vivs in a few days than i have built in 18 months! Looks great!

Thanks!

The front works better for getting rid of condensation, but I'm adding small fans to these, so it won't make much difference. I chose to put the vent in the rear because I want to be able to remove the glass for cleaning. I've siliconed the glass in the past and hate it. Cleaning it is a b****

I'll have a solid piece made up so I can pop these out, put the solid one in and can clean it much easier.

Your room looks fantastic. I really like how clean everything looks. I wish I have a sink in my room sometimes!!!

Best of luck with the upcoming planting Smile

A cheaper brand, Phil. lol

We're done planting for now. It'll take a bit to grow in. Just Pothos, prayer plants and some ferns. The rack is temporary and they'll be moved into the bug room when the new racks are done. We needed to get some frogs paired up and separated.

Hard at it. Clean up on isle 5!

Crappy pic of the rack...Too many lights going on and not enough room. lol

After settling down...These Matecho's are aggressive!
