A question for Reefers
#1
I'm cleaning a tank that was once used for saltwater and I got the inside all clean, but the top plastic has salt crust around it. I've been scraping it off, but is there an easier way? I've never dealt with saltwater tanks before. I've tried some cleaners but they don't seem to cut it much, just a screw driver.
thanks for your help.
Peace,

Well pending how long the salt has been dry....try some hot water...like it soak on that. That is what I used...I also used a razor blade when needed

Thanks. I tried the razor but it digs in too deeply in to the plastic.
I wa hoping there was a secret solution. Someone knew. Smile
