Fruit fly media - red discoloration ?
#1
I checked on my fruit fly cultures this morning, and found a red discoloration on the media... any ideas ? It could be normal for all I know.

Other info:

FF starter kit from South Eastern FF.

Just a thought, maybe the excelsior had a tad of red color on a small area that leached off from moisture?

Yeah...I vote for: No worries. Looks like a wayward bit o' color that got in there somehow.

Sometimes my cx's get some odd colours and it's never a big deal - never hurts production.
