How Picture of the Month (POTM) works ?
#1
POTM - Picture of the Month

also POY - Picture of the Year (2011 not yet determined)

Originally conceived as a members only vote, I soon realized that the energy to set up and maintain a monthly poll was not going to work. The staff here at Dart Den.com now has an Admin thread where we kabbitz and decide what pic to select - much faster and efficient that way. We MAY transition back to the original idea of a member voting poll in the future...it's possible.

Also

We have the huge namesake thread 'Post your picture of the Month here" as a hopeful repository of pics and we DEFINITELY look here FIRST for our monthly suggestions but we will and have, selected pics from ANY other place located here in the entire Forum. Any pic, anywhere is fair game. That said...again...we do try to look for pics in the POTM thread first.

Hope that clears up some POTM questions.

Starting very soon....there will be multiple POTM's. We have more great submissions lately and I'm going to try and showcase 2 or even 3 pics each month, instead of just one. Gonna give it a try and see how it goes.

^^ Bingo.... that's why we need more than one POTM here, otherwise I may as well just give Ray the keys and let him code a pic of his in every month.

No Field....you can't compete.

Phil, good choice for July POTM

Ray, that is one pretty frog!! If a dart frog were a leopard, that's what it would look like.

In Field's defense, who can compete, can we have the Ray POTM and then the other POTM's of the month

I WAS all set to keep Ray from the 'cover'.....until he posted progeny of MY eldorados. Sorry guys. Unless Ray find another heart string of mine to pull on, we'll see about keeping him off the front page Smile

More good news - Craig (cbreon) has the 1.1 parents is doing a great job of distributing those exact looking pumilio.

Viva la pums.
