Lone Star Reptile Expo in Arlington TX?
#1
Is anyone thinking of going to this this weekend?

I went to the one in April, and there wasn't much going on in the way of dart frogs (with the notable exception of Cindy with Vivarium Concepts).

I'm kind of on the fence about going, but I wouldn't mind the drive if there was a chance to meet some of the other area dart folks.

That's just a real, real small show...so I'm told.

You guys livin' in the Triangle have been having good luck with the 1-2 yearly member meets. THOSE local meets are worth 10 times what a 'Reptile Show' is.

I will be there Sunday, probably most of the day.

(Sorry for the delay responding; storms yesterday took out my power for 15hrs and my internet for 24... Personal worst week of weather outages for me in 30 years in Texas (lost power for 12hrs last Wednesday too...))

I'm going to try to get down to the expo on Sunday (will probably be either noon(-ish) or mid-afternoon); I've got a few odds and ends I want to try to round up for a couple of new vivs. Hopefully I can run into a few people -- I look pretty much like my avatar, at least if you picture it on a fairly good sized guy in jeans and a black t-shirt :-)

Yeah, it's pretty small -- I went to the last one, and the dart presence was small even relative to the show size (you could have gotten your bag limit of lizards and snakes, tho). I think the august show is supposed to be quite a bit bigger deal, but that's still a few months away -- and our next local meetup a few months after that...
