Is anyone else in the hobby working with these? I get my first two pairs of Gonatodes albogularis fuscus monday.

Here are some pictures of these guys I have taken. These were taken in the wild in Iquitos, Peru

Well the reason why I like this species of geckos a lot too is because they are commonly found where you find dart frog too. Their needs in a vivarium are exactly the same too but humidity 60-80%. Also these geckos do not have the "suction cup" feet like day geckos, so they need a cork or other type of background to use to climb up on. Another cool feature is they will lay their eggs in the substrate so no need to incubate the eggs as long as their viv stays in suitable parameters. If you have any other questions do hesitate to ask.

Actually, Yellow Heads tend to be more of a forest edge gecko and prefer environment more arid that the typical dart enclosure. A better although significantly more expensive Gonatodes for dart tanks would be either a Vittattus, Ceciliae or Humeralis.

If anyone knows of anyone working with G. Humeralis or Ceciliae here in the states could you please pm me or call me?
