That's fucked up. Talk about 'strip mining" the hobby.

Someone...PLEASE get me a pic of these $2000.00 frogs so I can start a proper thread here on them.

If I went to a show and bought a $2000 frog, I'd want to be able to drive home in it.

I was at the Chicago Repticon July 28, and bought some Azureus froglets and supplies from Reptiles Etc. Taron said his business is primarily shows now, he does shows all over the country every weekend. He had some gorgeous frogs! I made a comment about how stressful that must be on the frogs, being on the road constantly, and he said it is. (Obviously!) He must have a huge set up, cause he said he makes 100 ff cultures per week. I'm sure he sells some, but still, that's a lot of ff's! I had never seen black jeans in person, he had a beautiful proven pair. Stan, my fiancee, fell in love with them, but definitely out of my budget!
P. Terribilis orange, R. Imitator Cainarachi Valley, D. Leucomelas, D. Auratus, D. Azureus, P. vittatus, D. cobalts, D.Oyapok, Bombina Orientalis

I want to know what gorgeous, amazing, other good terms mean. At the last Vegas show RE frogs looked ok at best.
There were sylvatica.. ok at best, I felt one group looked kind scarred up..but I have not really seen that sp.of frog or a lot of scars for that matter . One sick Histo, one frog with toe stuck in lid. The prices were not marked and so it makes it pretty easy to undersell other vendors. I really think small prices on the more common frogs and a whole lot of charm, and even perhaps a genuine "passion for PDFs" makes this vendor a force.
