I would say that Josh's and Repashy Superfly are a really close/interchangable #1 and #2. Now I haven't tried the "new" Josh's media, my understanding is that it's a finer grade mix.
I now make my own media, which you may want to consider. It's a HUGE money saver vs buying pre-made. It you'd like the recipe just let me know I'd be happy to share it with you.

For ordering online, I've had good luck with Superfly too. Since you're local, tho, I'll add that I picked up some of Ghostviv's media at the D/FW frog get-together last month, and I've been getting better yields (and far better smell as cultures age) than I was getting with Superfly...

the stuff NE Herp makes seems pretty good too, personally I use the repashy and like it, but I only keep smaller frogs, if I kept tincs, teribs, etc, I'd probally be more motivated to make my own media as those frogs will eat a lot of flies if you have a bunch...

Meh...it's all the same. For every one person that recommends one brand there is another conflicting review of same.

You're only gonna buy media for a little while and then make your own, or cut-it, anyway. At least that's the common progression.

I was using a commercial mix and then started making my own. I was was very happy with it. Then, I screwed up and missed an ingredient when making it. 5 gallons pails full. It cost me $300 because I had to buy cultures from wherever I could find them. Finding 50 cultures isn't easy here and I have a lot of large frogs to feed. A few here a dozen there and then shipping. I lost about 80 non-producing cultures. I went straight to the commercial mixes after that ordeal. I use 75% Repashy to 25% potato flake now. It's way easier for me.

8 parts potato flakes
2 powdered sugar
1 brewer's yeast
50-50 water vinegar
a few sprinkles(no more needed) of bakers yeast per culture, sprinkled on top of the gelled media.
Coffee filters

Huge money saver.
Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.
