Finally, after a little over a month I got my escudos in from SR. The first time I received them I got three DOAs Sad. This time however I got three beautiful escudos who Im hoping will come out of QT really well and strong. Anyways here are the pictures of my 1.2 Escudos. Sorry for the crappy photos. All I had charged at the time was my iPhone.

Are the pictures of all three frogs or just one? If that's the whole trio, you lucked out and got some very very red ones! Beautiful frogs.

Very nice frogs! I do have to say in my opinion they are so red it almost looks like the color was adjusted.

That is of all three. I used the macro lens for my iPhone and then did the auto adjustment on my phone. They are exremely red though. He is a picture without the lens or adjustment.

Red skin colour in pumilio is very hard to gauge as to how it will look on 'film'. I must have taken 300 pics of very reddish pumilio in southern Costa Rica and depending on natural lighting, artificial or supplementary light, they all look different. Some look more reddish and some that you would swear look red to the naked eye, show up orange on the digital pic. Really odd, animal skin and pigment.

One more escudo picture un-edited just to show you how red these really are. These frogs are some of the reddest frogs I have seen in person yet.

You recv'd 3 DOA and they replaced them? Has SR changed it's policy on amphibian live arrival?
