Hello all, newbie from Ohio here. I'll be looking/reading around a lot as I'm still in the research stage. As my name suggests I keep some tarantulas, 6 different ones to be exact. I always loved the Dart Frog displays at zoos as a kid and had no idea people could keep them until about 2 years ago. I'm now seriously reading and trying to figure out everything I can in order to set up and be successful with my first Dart Frogs. I found this community while searching for information on Google and it seemed like a nice place filled with many very knowledgeable people. I thank you all for sharing your information, and look to learning a lot on here. Maybe one day I will have some information I'll be able to pass along as well.

Welcome, Spiderguy! We are happy to welcome you here, lots to learn! Keep looking and learning, ask questions when you have them! I am a newbie myself, only had frogs for a year now. This is a good site, lots of knowledgable people who are very helpful. Please post often, and we all love pictures.

Thanks for the welcome, and I will be sure to post lots of pictures once I start to actually put together the vivarium. I had originally planned on using an empty 40 breeder to start the project but after reading more I am thinking about buying a Exo Terra or Zoo Med terrarium.

Hey Spiderguy
Welcome to Dart Den. As you begin your journey into this hobby, experience can be the best teacher when it comes to Fruit Fly cultures. If your sure you want to do this, I would find someone local or purchase a supply kit and begin practicing FF culturing skills. Take your time w viv build out. Most important try to meet some locals.
Btw those are some beautiful Tarantula's. Years ago I had a pink toe and Mex Red leg. My wife tolerates Dart Frogs in the house, but not spiders.
Cheers
