A thread with a list of places to get hooked up with supplies while driving through an area seems like a good idea. In Mississippi, inbetween Jackson and Vicksburg off of Hwy 20 is a place labled "The worlds only cactus and bromeliad plantation". It's run by a really nice elderly gentleman and he's more than reasonable on his prices for plants. I would guess there was at least 1000 broms there. It's a place worth checking out if you're going to be building any more vivs or want some larger ones for landscaping. Heads up, they only take cash.
Another place I like is the Como Zoo in Twin Cities area of Minnesota. It's completely free to park and go into. They have a huge conservatory that they sell off overgrown broms/pups to keep their rooms looking nice. Last year they were $3 each, this year their $5. No big deal, especially since you get to see the zoo for free. Do any of you guys have hot spots for supplies and stuff that you can't get off of a website?
