I did name it. I discovered this tarantula several years ago a d have made additional trips looking for more. Still trying to get a male. I named it after Rick West www.birdspiders.com
He is one of my best friends and a tarantula expert.

Just downloaded pdf...congrats..super jealous.have always wanted to meet rick...have bred tarantulas since '84,yet have never had much success with avics..great looking t...almost iridopelma-like with the red patch...hopefully your able to track down a male
