I was checkin out my Basti couple yesterday and the male was carrying around a wriggling little tad. I'm stoked. My first offspring. I couldn't find where he put em. Its a big tank with lots of broms. I hope everything goes well.
Thanks for reading. I just felt like sharing.
Peace.

Interesting that the male was carrying.

Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.

Thanks rich. Yesterday I saw him sittin with his butt backed into a brom and then 5 minutes later carrying anothere tad. NOw I know what brom they laid in. I just wish I had a better digital camera than my cell phone. I coulda got such great pics.
I thought the male typically transports the tads. Is that not correct?
Peace.

Female pumilio usually transport tads. Male tincs transport.
Male pumilio will carry tads at times though.

WEll, I do try to encourage equality in my vivs among my frogs. I don't want any deadbeat dads.
