Those frogs are WC!!! The locale was only discovered earlier in the year, not long enough to breed and produce to adults. Let's not fool ourselves here. They may be sent out as farm bred, but who knows what that definition actually means to Panama.

Thats a shame. They are beautiful frogs nonetheless and u are right. I wasn't paying $4k for 7 females. Especially when prob 2 are sexed wrong and die off on top of that. That's just too much. They are spectacular though. Enjoy them

We have all been over the 'holding facility' / WC 'pens' before. Show me tadpoles. Show me metamorphs. Show me froglets.

Sidney is here because NSA doesn't make software strong enough. :wink: This is a valuable thread IMO, and while I may not support the grabbing of certain populations, I NEED to see and understand as much info on this as possible to make informed decisions and keep up with current hobby trends.

Thanks for not beating me to them! Lol. They were meant to be mine! Instant favorites. None other like them. And yeah...they were indeed some damage to the wallet, but If youd see them in person youd know theyre worth the risk and money 100%.

Fyi to all- I was just at my place in costarica for 8days and we went to cocle prov and got to visit here. All i can say is that theyre at least trying to provide healthy frogs. Theres nothing we can do to prevent wc,fr,cb imports...so just be happy that they are coming in in much better shape they used to years back.

Can I start a new thread on it with all project info and property photos? Im willing to even post ranch and home ownership paperwork if it will aid with the doubters... I will do anything to show the few who still believe me that i care about this hobby and am trying to make up for my ignorant past mistakes.

Going back to the frogs.... Rio colubre did come in along with loma colubre which imo is just as stunning as the all blue. Also was informed not many came in and a very limited few are left for those who have been contacting me about my blues.

Is this the nicest locale or what? I am trying to record colubres call and post so ypu guys can hear their somewhat unusual call. Loud As hell too
