Time to Say Goodbye -collection sale
#1
Phil, you may have to move this to another forum.

As my closest friends here know, I have fourth stage cancer. Actually, am doing quite well, but things are advancing since I've elected not to fill my body with chemo poisons. I tire easily and need to cut back on my some of my activities. Frogging is going to have to be one of them.

I am selling my entire collection and supplies as one lot. I will do a full inventory with pics, but I was hoping someone might be willing to save me the trouble. I plan on totaling up everything at a fair market value and then selling out for 60% of that value. I am willing to deliver up to 600 miles from Upstate NY, but you have to pay for U-Haul round trip. The collection includes 3 adult blue jeans and a juvi (2 of the 3 are a proven pair from Oz), a beautiful Drago Colon I bought this past Frog Day from Shawn Harrington, my first frog a Patricia (sigh!), 2 yellow Terillibis from past Frog Day, 2 Escudos from my very good bud Rich Frye, 1 large Viv full of plants that is fly proof that I built myself, two 20 gallon breeder tanks, a Protean tank (never used), tons of plants, FF cultures, springs, tons of substrate and leaves, fly paper. . .

This is only a partial listing, but if anyone wants to stop and take a look, that would save me a lot of time cataloging everything. I LIVE NEAR SYRACUSE, NY (50 miles east). My endurance is not what it used to be. A quick sale would be much appreciated under these circumstances.

Please e-mail me directly at my personal email address at emsinker@yahoo.com

I am going to miss all of you. Not one Frogger have I met that I didn't totally appreciate the opportunity to make that acquaintance. You are all a phenomenal group of people. Thank you for your past kindnesses to me and for your friendship over the years.

Ed,

It was a pleasure meeting, and getting to know you. Thanks again for the help getting to the train station in Chicago that past Frog Day. I will hold out hope that I'll see you at Georges MADS meet or Scott M's or even another NY frog Day here soon. If not...then journey well, my friend.

Your friend,

Phil

First, I want to thank all those members who took the time to contact me personally.

Secondly, I wanted to assure everyone I am not actively dying or anything. Things are progressing slowly, but progressing nonetheless.

I have sold my house and we will close in 6- 8 weeks.

So as not to take up storage space on Dart Den, I have created this hyperlink to show you all exactly what is for sale:

http://s1354.photobucket.com/user/Frogg ... FOR%20SALE

Retail value of the frogs are around $1700 and another $3597 for supplies, for a total retail value of $5292---about $5300 worth of stuff. I WOULD LIKE TO SELL EVERYTHING, IF POSSIBLE, IN A SINGLE LOT. PLEASE MAKE ME A REASONABLE OFFER; I MUST PARTICULARLY FIND A GOOD HOME SOON FOR THESE FROGS. I WILL PERSONALLY DELIVER EVERYTHING VIA U-HAUL TRUCK TO ANYONE WITHIN A 600-MILE RADIUS OF SYRACUSE, NEW YORK. DEPENDING ON THE PURCHASE PRICE, I MAY HAVE TO CHARGE YOU ONLY FOR THE RENTAL AND THE GAS. I WILL ALSO ARRANGE FOR PERIODIC PAYMENTS FROM HIGHLY RESPECTED MEMBERS WHOSE CREDIT IS GOOD. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THE URGENCY WITH WHICH I MUST RELOCATE THE FROGS AND THE ASSORTED SUPPLIES.

Thank you.

Thank you again all for your kind words.

I have had a lot of questions sent, but no real offers. I'd prefer, of course, to sell the entire collection as one lot, but I will accept offers on everything including the frogs. I will break up the collection; frogs and all.

As far as the supplies etc., figure what they'd sell for normally and I will let them go for half of that plus shipping.
