Emergency dart frog help
#1
Ok so I picked up 4 azureas last year and had them about a year temp and humidity has always been perfect but over the last couple days the have started looking a little skinny today I came
Home two were dead I put the third and fourth in two isolation tanks one looks horrible the other looks like it might be ok I'm worried about parasites and I can't take it to any vet around here and if I send the decals to frye I'm
Afraid they will die before then what should I do? And can parasites be the problem and if so can they jump from
Tank to tank? I have 5 other species of tincs all in there own enclosures I'm afraid of it spreading ;,( someone help fast ;(

1. How long have you had the frog(s) and where did you acquire them ?

2. What are your Temperatures -Day and Night - Highs and lows ? Are you lights too hot ?

3. What is the Humidity like ? - Percentage or guesstimate. What type of Water are you using ? Describe your tank/enclosure and it's lid or top.

4. What kind of food are you providing, how much and are you dusting it ? What superfine powdered supplements are you using and are they fresh ?

5. Any other animals in the enclosure currently or recently ? Tankmates / other frogs ?

6. Any type of behaviour you would consider 'odd' ?

7. Have you handled or touched the frogs recently ? Any cleansers, paint, perfumes, bug sprays ect near the tank ?

8. Can you take pictures of EVERYTHING ? The frogs, the enclosure ? Take numerous pics of everything - that will be of great help.

Ok nightime temps 67 daytime 74 I have exoterra tanks with just a piece of plexi on the top humidity stays between 75- 99%I've had them for a year in August. No sprays or perfumes of any type in my frog room. There has been no strange acting besides sudden lethargy... There was a total of 4 froglets two died ones on his last leg and one looks like he might make it they are now in ISO tanks I am feeding every day fruit flies with repashy calcium plusa all my other frog tanks are fine just this one seems affected it won't let me put my pics from my phone says it's to big Sad but you could look up my you tube and get an idea what I'm running on (forest geckos). Although it won't have video of them in the ISO tanks and how they look now :/

So these are 'Froglets' ?

What kind of FF are you feeding ? Hydei ? Melanogaster ? Is your Rapashy fresh ? I'd buy a new batch regardless, for peace of mind.

No glue or silicone fumes ? Paint ? Anything inorganic in the viv that could give off fumes or otherwise be toxic?

Offhand, unless you trust who you got them from 100% - I'd say they could have disease, parasite load or were not 'strong' animals.

Take the normal /established precautions with the rest of your collection to limit cross contamination ect.

This is your video / animals ?

If so, it looks like there are Gecko vivariums below the frogs on the same Bakers Rack system ? If so, I would also be concerned about possible cross contamination from the lizards to the frogs (and vice versa).
