Only ones I have seen are going for 350-400 each unless you buy groups for 1K. From observation/personal experience and talking to other froggers with them they are slow breeders and the females are slower to mature than the males. Mine only lay 2 eggs a clutch sporadically. Honestly I do not see them going on the price drop like benedicta or vanzolini. Just my .02.
I will add that they are not an easy thumb to keep, IMO, definitely not a beginner frog.

I agree with a difficult frog and not a beginner. When mine breed though I get eggs every week with two or three eggs max. They lay constantly for me then they just stop for a long period. I've had two frog sitters keep my pair and one even got 12 tads in just a little over a month, blocker institute. Frog face had them breed a lot but eggs weren't developing right for her as well. I would be very surprised if the price does not come back down to $150 and $500 for a pair.

IMO its not sensible to charge far less than the going rate. Sure $400 might be gouging but if you sell them for less for all you know the person you sell them to is going to just flip them for an easy $150 / frog profit and beat the drop in price that will surely come when the F2s start hitting. Maybe they won't want the backlash and will be a little more sly about it and raise them a bit first. IMO it is BEST if the actual breeder gets most of the profit not just someone who got in line first.

Sometimes something doesn't feel right but its actually the better course of action. Lots of examples of that in life.

I'm getting a lot of info, that these frogs are being bred in LARGE numbers in Europe. LARGE numbers - and we are starting to see some 'crop up' here in the U.S....from those E.U sources. Interesting.

These frogs are going to hit $100.00 each pretty soon. No doubt.

That's a pretty bold statement considering these haven't dipped below $150/frog in the last five years or so, even when they were more readily available than now.

Not to mention the fact that retics haven't even reached that price, and they breed easily.

Time will tell, I guess. I just talked with a friend of mine in the Netherlands who said that more and more people over there are breed them 'like crazy'. They used to be rare / big seller for Rich F. as well but not lately. Demand for his have slowed due to increased production from many other US breeders.

$82.50 each in Europe. Josh's Frogs are selling them right now for $200 each (when you buy 2 or more) and two that went up for auction on their FB page the other day went for less than that.

I don't think you can sell them now unless you have them priced under $200 each. Phil might be right with his prediction.
