Hi Tom
Welcome to Dart Den. Hard not to love the "poster frog" of our hobby. I keep this frog myself and still one of my favorites. Would love to see some full tank shots when you get around to it.
cheers

Azureus are supposed to be terrestrial but these guys are always climbing around in the viv.
They mostly come down to the floor of the viv to eat and soak in the water dish.

Hey Tom! Thanks for sharing the FTS's! Really nice viv! What kind of lighting are you using?
All darts can and will climb. My azureus prefer the upper ledge of their viv and spend more than half their day up there. My bakhuis and lorenzo spend most of their day scaling the ledges of their vivariums only coming down to feed. My larger tincs use all of their vivarium with my giant female Robertus routinely hauling herself to a perch within three inches of the top of her viv. I'd say you are witnessing normal behavior.
Perhaps my opinion differs from most, but I don't think terrestrial versus arboreal classifications are really applicable in typical hobby scale vivs. In most cases we are talking about a viv that is less than 24" tall. Arboreal species in the wild spend their lives 10's of meters off the forest floor while terrestrial frogs spend their time within a few meters of the floor, often scavenging in leaf litter.
Anyhow my experience with tincs is the terrestrial label doesn't matter much with well designed vivs like yours. Give a frog an opportunity to climb and it will. Great setup and keep the pics coming!
