albino Ranitomaya imitator "Tarapoto"- Pics

This is a breeding thread. Pictures for pictures' sake belong in the photo threads. Pretty simple.
Exactly what is wrong with civil debate revolving around breeding?
Actual contribution was happening, as opposed to needless complaints.
Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.

If tone is more important to you than content, you are at the wrong place.

you may notice that 'Jelly' did not take issue until I wrote the word "hybridizing"...

I love my hybrids. Really cool looking frogs. They are by far the ones most noted and looked at when i have other frogger to the house.

I agree Rich, since this is in the breeding section I can see the avenue for debate.

Phil,
can you break the two threads and put the original content into the picture section and let few that want to debate continue on in the breeding section?

And the hi-jacking now begins...congrats jelly. Thanks for the usual contributions and the start of the drama.

Why, when neither Phil nor Rick have requested a break do you personally find it necessary to cry drama and splitting?
Don't read if it hurts you somehow.

Can I break the thread in two parts for you ? Seriously ?

If you don't like the thread, don't read it. No one else has complained, not even the OP in particular.

If you don't like Rich....which I think is the crux of this whole outburst...then go to your profile CP and place Rich on "foe" and EVERY single one of his posts will disappear. You should see all the content except for his posts. That should solve 100% of your problem, I believe.

I'll be trimming this thread later - to remove the off topic stuff.

Rick,

I personally apologize if this thread evolved into something you did not wish. If you wish for me to move it to the photo forum, just LMK.

My personal opinion? You are an EXCELLENT hobbyist for posting this here. You posted your breeding success and showcased your hobby efforts and I commend you for that. I HOPE that the continued adding to this thread means positive things, on the whole and I would be willing to bet it does. There are always a few detractors and individual opinion sways -always will, but I think the more this thread gets 'added to", the RICHER the hobby is for it, and that's all because you took to time to post and share with us - the hobby.

Thanks again, Rick.

Phil,

No need to split the thread. All good discussion as far as I'm concerned.

I wish the Hobby had a clear consensus on the filial numbers. Some count generations from wild caught and others count from unrelated pairings. So F1 on some accounts and F4 for someone else.

In case anyone is interested in the history (lineage) of the frogs:

Original breeding stock was purchased from Rob Ossibof. I have the ASN ascension numbers for them.

He told me he received 3 males from an INIBICO import through Sean Stewart and 3 females from an Understory enterprises import. He set them up in 3 separate vivs.

I received 1 frog from each of his pairs as sub-adults. They turned out to be 1.2 . I'll call them A,B.and C

When frog C began losing weight, she was separated. I didn't notice any aggression but I assumed it was the reason she was getting thin.

Frogs A and B produced many healthy and normal froglets for me.

Frog A (male) escaped while I was doing some maintenance and I didn't realize it until a couple of days later.

I had several froglets on hand so I decided to hold some back to see if I had another male. Frog B was then sold to another hobbyist as a proven female.

I then paired the male offspring from A and B with frog C . These are the parents of the Oddballs.

( I did not know where to post this, so I chose a popular topic, sorry, I am still learning to navigate this site !!!! )

But even if you are not a "HUMAN" DAD....

If you ever had baby frogs or such, you are "FOSTER PARENT"

so happy FATHER'S DAY TO EVERYONE!!!!!!

( Please dont send them out to FLOG ME, OR THROW STONES...)
