Why do my dart frogs hide so much?

I am very new to having these guys and I’m used to having animals that aren’t always visible but when I first got them the breeder said it should only take 2 weeks for them to get settled and start coming out more. It’s been over a month and I still see them in back corners hiding but I was wondering if there’s a direct reason why they wouldn’t be coming out?

It's totally normal for newly transferred frogs to hide and be hard to see for weeks of not months. Months. While other factors - lighting, hardscape construction, humidity ect all play a role, you just have to wait it out. Try scattering dusted fruit flies / feeding and then watch carefully to see the frogs. Patience is admittedly hard in this hobby, but that's what I recommend. very normal for frogs to hide for what seems like a long time.
