My main concern here , and my brother touched on it, is that I do not believe "Kurt" is 18. I know he says he is, but really..........IF he is 18 , he has some MAJOR emotional/developmental issues, MAJOR.
So I am not going to rip into him and make him feel like he(?) has just passed a bowling ball. What I am going to do is let this child walk away like he said he would a few posts ago. I would hate to make a prepubescent kid have nightmares.

Damn... I will be coming home from a San Antonio business trip that day and my plane does not land at DTW until 3pm or so.

Not trying to get too involved, but Kurt, do you not realize that you started this whole thing by asking someone to cut you a deal on their frogs...just because. You don't know Rich and you have done no business with him. And it doesn't sound like you would have been purchasing a lot to get a quantity deal. You got mad at him when he said no. I think it is pretty rude to just ask for things. You must have been the kind of kid who asks his friends parents if you could stay there for dinner. I think it is pretty arrogant. It was also rude to say..."to make it worth my while"...when someone is opening their home to host an event. I would assume everyone is siding with Rich on this one. Why not consider trying to settle this with a nice apology and move on? Admit when you are at fault and prove, not to us, but to yourself, that you can handle things in a mature fashion.
And please don't come back and say why should I apologize when I don't even want his frogs because remember, the key word here is mature.

Mydumbname, u did help me realize that was pretty rude of me to say the"worth my while" thing. The thing is im just trying to find a deal whenever i could get one. just because we all know when u start up a hobby u spend enough money alone on the things the frogs need to thrive. but yes i am sorry for making it sound like the meeting would do nothing for me cuz that wasnt what i was trying to say at all, i was just wondering if he could do me a favor with some frogs that he could sell to me. but i didnt realize it and when he replied i took it as an offense while i was not thinking. but thank you mydumbname for helping me realize how immature i was acting.
