I found a breeder that will have this pumilio form avalible.I heard sometimes they stress themselves to death easily,is this true ?I also heard that it is almost impossible to have them raise tadpoles on their own, but you have to switch them with bastimentos eggs which they can raise and the bastimentos raise the blue jeans.

There have been a lot of strawberry pumilio coming through the "farm", but they are not blue jeans. They are most likely man creeks. So, they should have no problem raising their young.
Make sure the frogs are quarantined and treated by the vendor before they are sent to you.

There are quite a few people that have real blue jeans, but it will be a long time (or possibly never) before you see any for sale.
I didn`t see blue jeans listed anywhere on his site.

Never seen one for sale.
Sean is not selling them.

Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.

Revisiting this thread due to the large (comparitively) amount of true Blue Jeans morph pumilio imported to the U.S from "Europe" in 2009-2010.
pumilio in general can stress and seize, more so than most other Dart Frog species, I believe and this can be attributed to wild caught animals undergoing various stressors or it could be due to a vitamin deficency.
female pumilio, being obligate eggfeeders ,can and do feed each others tadpoles in a surrogate fashion. Pumilio feeding histrionicus species has been documented as well, I believe.
