Look to be a couple days old. Hard to tell but it almost looks like they may have been turned over. If so they will probably mold over. If not I look forward to some development pics.

hmm. I carefully pushed them onto the leaf off the top of the film canister and I know I didn't flip them at all. In the pic of them on the film canister you can sort of see the line area forming.
If they are going to mold over will that happen soon?

unfortunatly they can mold over at any point but usually if its going to happen it will in the first week (in my limited experiance) you can try lightly misting them with a meth blue distilled water solution. I use a small spray bottle with a few drops of meth blue, just enought to turn the water light blue.

Looks like you have a couple of healthy imitator tadpoles developing!
Good shot on day 8, you can see the gills.
Keep the photos coming.
I wonder if anyone has ever done a time lapse on tadpole development,
that would be a cool project.
