As far as I am personally concerned, until we read the studies on these frogs I think we have all pretty much exhausted most all the speculation possible.
When in doubt, I'll take a peer reviewed paper on these guys, for sure.

How about we stop speculating and just enjoy the myriad of colorful froglets coming from adults with none if the same characteristics as the offspring they produce.
I'll post some shots of my second group's most recent offspring tonight.

Which is totally fine, but it doesn't dissuade from the fact these are some awesome frogs and this thread is for photos of them.
Your opinion has been stated and discussed on the poll you started about how Paru should be kept. You have very loudly explained you don't want to further discuss how they should be kept. The fact is there are those of us who are keeping them and want to discuss and share.. Not interested? Don't join in discussion.

I open to listening, if it's new.
If there is nothing new to add, then I patiently await the results of the studies being run and I await the review. Contrary to some froggers' beliefs, I don't debate for the sake of debate. I want real answers.

And, if people really want "to share" , they'd answer pointed questions like the one I asked Adam a couple posts back. No answer as to the sexing.

I have one pair in a 40 gallon column that I originally started the trio in, and the second pair in a 18x18x24 exo. Here is shots of both vivs with the camera phone (I can take some better shots with the SLR tonight).

Nobody is debating Rich. Just because the Almighty Rich Frye doesn't want to discuss a frog and how they are being kept doesn't mean the hobby doesn't want to talk about them. Get over yourself man. There are a bunch of people keeping these and just because you aren't doesn't mean you need to be a dick about any discussion pertaining to them.
Why is it ok to discuss the husbandry of other frogs but because you feel "the jury is still out" on these, that there is nothing new to add?

When the two females were together they had a couple wrestling matches but nothing super aggressive. After seeing the second match and picking up a male a microcosm I separated the two into pairs and have had no issues since.
I have two males together in a grow out with no issues at all..

Please feel free to post all the pics you like, discuss until your heart is content, and if you have additional information the rest of us have not heard, please post that too.
What I don't wish to participate in until science has proven out what's going on, is why these frogs are so 'unique' in a number of ways.
I want the people who are actually going to be able to
prove 'what's up' to do so. And in the mean time I am fine with my decisions pertaining to these frogs.
Now, if you want to start name calling and further deteriorate this thread, I can play. I don't want to, but I can play.

I have... what I thought was a pair in a 24x24x18 and I noticed the male was chasing and calling (I thought)... and now he is just chasing her.
I am starting to think I might have 2 males.
