Anyone getting a increase in Text based, spam, glurge or phishing ? I have...lotsa text posing as banks saying there are CC problems. Yikes.

They all come and go; gmail does a fairly good job of screening them, so I don't often see them unless I look in the spam folder.

I've never had that problem. I'm kind of surprised to hear that spam is coming in through text messages. ??

I shouldn't be surprised, should I? (-.-)

Sorry -- did the thread title say cell phone before, or did it change? Need to work on my reading skills...

I've never really had an issue with text message spam; maybe 3 - 4 messages total over the past five years on AT&T & Verizon. Maybe because I seldom give my actual cell number out? Dunno.
